Reservation Timing

Dinner reservations at 5.00pm, 5.30pm, 6.00pm, and 6.30pm are booked on a 1.5 to 2.0-hour dining time depending on the size of the party with the table rebooked shortly after. If you would like to stay longer, please select 7.00pm onwards.

Reservation Confirmation

Once credit card details are received, your reservation is confirmed and subject to our cancellation policy noted below.

Cancellation Policy - Non Special Event Days

Credit card details for pre-authorised payment are required to secure all reservations at Baan Baan. A cancellation charge of $20 per person will only be incurred should you cancel your reservation or reduce your guest numbers within 24 hours of the arrival time, or if you fail to show for the booking. Please contact us on (08) 6150 9413 or email kin@baanbaanperth.com.au to make any amendments to your reservation with minimum of 24 hours advance notice. We only accept cancellation through our email or booking system. No phone cancellation is accepted.

Group Bookings

Bookings for 10 guests and above are to be made online only. All guests in the group are required to select Baan Baan Tasting menu. A pre-payment (deposit) of $20 per person is required. The credit is to be deducted from your total bill on the day of dining. For our small kitchen to be able to accommodate all customers in a timely manner, we are not able to offer a la carte for a group of 10 and above.

 

Any dietary requirements, please add them to the booking notes. Our chef will prepare the Tasting menu for your group accordingly. We cannot guarantee seating as one large group for multiple and/or separate bookings that are made by the same contact/party i.e., 2 x bookings of a party of 5 and another party of 5 by the same person.

 

Any increase in the guest number from 8 or 9 to 10 will also subject to Baan Baan Tasting Menu. Any amendments or cancellation are subject to the same cancellation policy being minimum 24 hours advanced notice required as per the above.

Private Event or Function

For functions, events, private spaces, or for a large group booking for 15+ people, please make a booking enquiry at kin@baanbaanperth.com.au.

Seating

Baan Baan has both indoor and outdoor seating. Our main indoor section is small and cozy. Some indoor seats may not be suitable for children or prams. Outdoor seats are great for breezy summer months. It is weather permitted. During winter, we will do our best to reallocate your table should it rain, however we may not be able to accommodate your booking when we reach our maximum capacity. Our indoor bar area (table service) is more suitable for guests who may have accessibility requirements. This section is usually requested by guests with prams or wheelchairs. Any accessibility or specific requirements, please inform us in advance.

Dining with Children

Baan Baan is a family friendly restaurant. Children of all ages are welcome to dine at Baan Baan under the careful supervision of their parent, guardian, or carer. We kindly ask children respect the other guests while dining at our restaurant. Baan Baan offers various dishes children can enjoy. Food and drinks from outside are also not allowed. We are unable to provide a children’s menu specially. We have a limited number of highchairs available and cannot guarantee space for a pram. Any dietary or specific requirements, please inform us in advance.

Pets

Baan Baan is a pet friendly restaurant for outdoor seating only. Service animals are allowed in all areas of the restaurant.

Cake

You are welcome to bring your own celebratory treats. We charge a small fee of $15 for cakage.

No BYO

Baan Baan is a fully licensed venue. We have fine selection of local wines and International beverages.

Gift Cards

Baan Baan gift cards are welcome to be used on any days except for on our special event days such as Baan Baan Street Food Market, Valentine’s Day or New Year’s Eve, or other events that require pre-payment at the time of booking.

Service Charge

Baan Baan does not have a service charge policy. Tipping is accepted as a gratuity, and it will go directly to our staff.

Accepted Payment Method

We are pleased to accept payment by debit, credit card, and cash.

Credit Card Surcharge

Please note, a variable surcharge will be applied to all EFTPOS, credit, and debit card payments.

Public Holiday Surcharge

Should your reservation date fall on a public holiday a surcharge of 15% will apply to all food and beverage prices.
